The direct consequence of the damage of most water pumps is coolant leakage, which is mostly caused by the aging of the water pump sealing ring; in addition, the engine combination belt is too tight will also cause the water pump to wear prematurely; if the antifreeze is not replaced for a long time, internal corrosion will eventually cause The water pump is damaged; the water pump reaches its service life and is not replaced for a long time.
2. Check whether the automobile water pump shaft is bent, the journal is worn or not, and the shaft end thread is damaged. Check whether the blades on the impeller are broken and whether the shaft hole is severely worn. Check the wear degree of the water seal and bakelite gasket, if it exceeds the usage limit, replace it with a new one. Check the wear of the bearing, measure the bearing clearance with a table, if it exceeds 0.10mm, replace the bearing with a new one
3. The failure of the water pump is mainly caused by the aging of the water pump sealing ring, and the premature wear of the water pump due to the tight belt of the engine combination. Install and check the water pump, and turn the water pump by hand.
